I've wanted to be a weather forecaster since I was in second grade.  It is so nice to be able to work every day doing my hobby that I have loved my whole life.  I originally planned to work for the National Weather Service, but the advent of cable TV, technological advances, and a willingness to give TV a try changed that.  Now, almost 40 years later, I continue to enjoy delivering the forecast across all the mediums of television and social media.  While I've been in the business for almost four decades, I'm one of the new people here at WICU/WSEE.  I have been greeted with open arms and great respect by everybody here.  It's truly a wonderful station to work!  I look forward to engaging in the special events, school visitations, and other areas where I can work with the public.

I received my American Meteorological Society Seal of Approval in 1996.  I also received the Marquis Who's Who Lifetime Achievement Award for Excellence in the broadcasting field in early 2024.

When I'm not at work, I'm teaching meteorology at Mercyhurst University and Penn State Behrend.  I enjoy spending time with my wife and 2 children. I also like to hike, garden, and read in my spare time.
