4 Days of Fun: Erie Winter Carnival Returns to Downtown Perry Square

The Erie Winter Carnival will officially kick off in Perry Square today at 4 p.m. The carnival will run through February 23.
The four day event is hosted by the Erie Downtown Partnership.
The annual winter carnival will feature ice sculptures, music, dancing, kids activities, and more.
Originally, over 60 professional sculpted pieces of ice art were going to be placed around Perry Square. However, the Erie Downtown Partnership has announced a change in plans.
According to a Facebook post, the ice sculptures are not able to be displayed this weekend. The sculptures will come to Erie next weekend instead, from February 28-March 2.
The Downtown Erie Skating Rink will also be open during the event.
