Democratic Debates for Erie Mayor & Erie County Executive
The primary election is a little more than a month away and our Lisa Adams and Mike Ruzzi were the moderators for two debates.
In collaboration with WQLN, Erie News Now recorded two one hour long debates in the contested democratic races for Erie Mayor and Erie County Executive.
In the race for mayor, the three democrats on the ballot incumbent Joe Schember and challengers Daria Devlin and Sheila Ellyn Woeger faced off on the biggest issues facing the city.
In the race for County Executive, democrats Perry Wood, and Christina Vogel faced off on issues including the budget troubles between council and the County Exec., taxes, fire and ems services and the use of the library.
The democratic Mayoral debate will air Monday, April 21st at 7 p.m. on WICU and ENN+. The County Executive debate will air Wednesday, April 23rd at 7 p.m. also on WICU and ENN+.
Erie News Now has given republican candidates Matthew Thomas for mayor, and Brenton Davis for County Executive time to talk about their platforms on ENN at 7:00.
