Friends and family gathered this afternoon, to rename the area of West 4th and Cascade Streets, as Tom Hoffman Way.

Hoffman was the longtime coordinator of the Bay and Harbor Neighborhood Association, and also spent time with our West Bayfront.

His loved ones tell us that he was dedicated to making his neighborhood a better place. Tom passed away last October, at the age of 84.
