Every year, The Erie Police Department and the Police Athletic League offers a field trip for Erie students.

The PPG Science Pavillion/Carnegie Science Center was the first stop for Erie PAL students.

The building offers space for STEM education, touring exhibitions and career awareness projects.

The next stop took the students and officers to the Pymatuning Spillway.

Over 300,000 visitors stop each year to see the Spillway.

The Erie Police Athletic League Program was reinstated in 2016 after a 40-year hiatus.

It started with six Officers and 35 students.

Since then, PAL has grown too involved 120 Officers and 1,700 students.
