Child Seeking a Family for Life: Meet Liam
Erie News Now is continuing its series, a Family for Life, where we introduce you to some pretty incredible kids in our community, looking for permanency.
This month, we meet a fun-loving teenager with a heart for adventure, a talent for cooking, and big dreams for a bright future.
But he's looking for a family to be there for every milestone.
Liam's a 14 year old who thrives outdoors and hopes to find a family who enjoys bicycling, fishing, and spending time together.
He says he's looking to snag all the fish, like Walleye, Trout, and Steelhead!
Liam also has a passion for video games, especially virtual reality.
He had the chance to explore the latest tech at Splash Lagoon, where the entire space was opened just for him to play— and he couldn't get enough of the newest Godzilla game.
Kate Wood, an older child matching initiative recruiter says that Liam is just fun to be around. “He has the best sense of humor because you don't always see it coming… he keeps you on your toes in a good way.“
Liam's very social. And for the people around him, he brings a lot to the table too.
"I like to cook a lot of things. I like to try new recipes that other people might like. I like to see people enjoy [the] food that I cook." said Liam.
Liam is focused on his future and hopes his forever family will support him through new milestones like him graduating and even getting into the Navy.
“It would mean a lot to me. I just want someone there for me and someone to love me." said Liam.
