The District Attorney of Warren County has issued a public statement addressing allegations of misconduct involving the county’s Chief County Detective.

According to the statement, the DA’s office became aware of potential misconduct by the Chief County Detective on January 30, 2025.

In response, the office immediately requested the Pennsylvania Attorney General to conduct an independent investigation into the allegations. The Chief County Detective was suspended on the same day the allegations surfaced and later officially resigned from the position on March 13, 2025.

The investigation is currently being handled by the Pennsylvania Office of the Attorney General. The Warren County Court has ordered that all investigative materials related to the case be sealed until the investigation is concluded. As a result, the District Attorney has stated that all information regarding the investigation must come directly from the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office.

The DA has instructed Assistant District Attorneys Cody Brown and Casey Strickland not to discuss the matter and to refer all inquiries to the DA, who will then direct questions to the Attorney General’s Office.
