A fight erupted Saturday night inside the Cinemark Theatre in Summit Township, leading to a significant response from state police and other law enforcement agencies. The incident occurred around 8:45 p.m., with Erie News Now on the scene as multiple police units and ambulances arrived to address the situation.

According to sources inside the theater, the altercation took place in one of the movie auditoriums during a screening of the film Final Destination. Theater staff promptly contacted law enforcement to remove the individuals involved in the fight.

On-site, Erie News Now observed authorities interviewing several people as part of their investigation. At this time, it remains unclear how many individuals were involved in the altercation, what triggered the fight, or whether anyone sustained serious injuries.

Despite the incident, the Cinemark Theatres were never fully evacuated, and other movies continued to play as scheduled.
