Hundreds Walk for for Cure for ALS

Hundreds of people walked the bases at UPMC Park on Saturday morning, not for baseball, but for a cure for ALS.
People living with ALS, their families, friends, and caregivers walked to raise money to defeat the disease.
ALS is also known as Lou Gehrig's disease and is a progressive motor neuron disease effects people's ability to walk, talk, swallow and eventually breathe.
Saturday's event featured vendor booths, speakers, activities, games, prizes, and the walk.
All the money raised will help people living with ALS by supporting patient care, advocacy, research to find treatments.
