Now 75 years-old, Tom Kite spends much of his time promoting the game golf.
He also answers the call when a non-profit is in need.
Kite visited Erie on Monday for the Africa 6000 International Charity Golf Tournament.
The Africa 6000 International is a non-profit organization that drills large-scale water wells.
Helping those in need of clean water sources.
The non-profit has raised over 11 million dollars, producing 280 large solar community water well projects.
Kite was also reunited with a good friend Dennis Satyshur, who happens to be a graduate of East High School.
Their friendship goes back over 50 years.
