The Mercyhurst men's hockey team announced its 2025-26 schedule Wednesday. It will be the final season for head coach Rick Gotkin as he retires after 37 seasons leading the Lakers.

Mercyhurst opens the season with a two-game road trip to Ann Arbor to face Michigan October 3-4.

The Lakers will return home the following weekend to host Union for the first of four home series in October. 

Mercyhurst opens conference play with a Saturday, Oct 18, matchup against Holy Cross at 5 p.m. 

The Lakers open the new year with a pair of road games at North Dakota on Jan. 2-3. 

The season concludes Feb. 27-28 with a home-and-home series against Robert Morris. 

The AHA Postseason will open with single-game first-round matchups on March 3. The No. 7 and No. 8 seeds will host the No. 10 and No. 9 seeds, respectively.
