A $1.3 million resurfacing project in Crawford County will start next week.

PennDOT will be paving more than three miles of Route 77 from the intersection with Route 89 to the Erie County line in Spartansburg and Sparta Twp.

Updated drainage and guiderails, road markers, and line painting will also be part of the project. 

There will be lane restrictions, PennDOT said. 

Construction is expected to be completed in October.
