A group of people got some breakfast Friday and learned while eating it.

The Erie Regional Chamber had a knowledge breakfast with Erie Public Schools' new superintendent, Natalyn Gibbs, Ph. D.

She talked about the future of the district and what her priorities are.

People got to ask questions to learn more about her approach to things like leadership and education.

“We’re hot off the heels of our convocation, where we had an opportunity to welcome back our staff,” she said. “It was very exciting to see everyone.”

The first day of school is Monday.
