The Firefighters Challenge wrapped up Saturday morning in Perry Square.

Over 180 participants traveled from all over the world to compete, including across the U.S., Canada, even Germany.


70 people qualified for Saturday's events which included various obstacles that replicate real life situations that firefighters could encounter.


Participants ages' ranged from seventeen to seventy. One of the youngest people broke a world record. She had been training for two months and this was her first time competing.
