Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is reminding drivers construction work continues at the Route 8 and Route 77 intersection in Bloomfield Township, Crawford County, according to a news release Tuesday.

While the intersection reopened earlier this month, crews are still working on rumble strips, a new flashing beacon, landscaping, paving, and road markings.

Drivers should expect lane restrictions with flaggers directing traffic.

The project began in May and is set to wrap up by October 2025, pending a 30-day test of the beacon.

A contractor from State College is handling the $2.99 million project, funded by state and federal money.
