Jamestown, NY - Preparations are underway for the 44th Annual Labor Day Festival at Bergman Park in Jamestown, New York on Sunday, August 31st, from noon until 8:30p.m.

The festival will feature live music throughout the day, along with performances from Victoria’s School of Dance, magic shows for children, Pepsi Bingo, live professional wrestling by Southern Tier Wrestling, and a Jamestown Midget League Football citywide scrimmage. More than 30 craft and food vendors will also be set up on the grounds.

Organizers say the festival is not only a way to celebrate the importance of Labor Day, but also to make sure children are part of the community tradition.

“This event brings the community together every year, offering something for everyone to enjoy,” said Pat Smeraldo, event coordinator with Collaborative Children’s Solutions, the nonprofit hosting the event. "We will have live music all day, the Jamestown Midget Football League will be holding a city-wide scrimmage. We are also bringing back professional wrestlers for the Bergman Brawl, and Pepsi Bingo will be returning as well - and of course the best fireworks show of the summer will be at 8:30pm."

Admission to the festival is free, with $5 parking at the gate.
Proceeds will benefit Collaborative Children’s Solutions and its work in the community.
