A jockey is recovering after his horse stumbled and dismounted him during a race.

Ronnie Allen Jr., also known as Rock N Roll, was hurt and taken to UPMC Hamot in Erie Tuesday.

He underwent surgery to fuse two injured vertebrae, according to a GoFundMe.

He will remain in the intensive care unit for three to four weeks. He will then move to a rehabilitation center in Florida.

He can't move his fingers and only has feeling in the lower half of his right arm, the post said.

There is a goal of $20 thousand in donations.
